Job Title: Senior Program ManagerLocation: 100% RemoteDuration: 8 months contractClient is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end technology implementation projects—from requirements through go-live and post-launch stabilization. This role ensures systems are delivered on scope, on schedule, and fully adopted by the teams depending on them.What this role delivers:Structured project delivery across the full implementation lifecycle—discovery, design, build, test, and deployGovernance and status reporting that keeps sponsors informed and decisions on trackStakeholder alignment across business owners, technical teams, and vendorsClean handoffs to operations, with documentation and training in place before go-liveCore ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Lifecycle ManagementDefine project scope, objectives, schedule, and resource plan in alignment with business and technical sponsorsDevelop and maintain a detailed project plan covering all implementation phases: discovery, design, build, test, deploy, and stabilizationTrack milestones, manage dependencies, and adjust plans proactively when scope or conditions changeOwn project initiation through formal closure, including sign-off, documentation handoff, and lessons learnedRequirements & Solution DeliveryFacilitate requirements-gathering workshops with business stakeholders and translate outputs into actionable project scopePartner with solution architects, developers, and business analysts to validate that the build aligns with approved requirementsManage scope change through a formal change control process—documenting requests, impacts, and decisionsCoordinate system integration, data migration, and configuration activities across technical workstreamsTesting & Quality AssuranceDevelop and execute test planning strategy across unit, integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression cyclesTrack defects and issues through resolution; escalate blocking items with recommended paths forwardObtain formal business sign-off on UAT before go-live authorizationEnsure testing outcomes are documented and traceability maintained from requirements to test resultsStakeholder & Vendor ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders across business, IT, and third-party vendorsRun recurring project status meetings, steering committee reviews, and executive briefingsManage vendor and system integrator relationships—tracking SOW deliverables, timelines, and qualityEscalate risks and issues with clear options and recommendations, not just problem statementsGo-Live & Transition to OperationsDevelop and execute a go-live readiness checklist with clear criteria for launch authorizationCoordinate cutover planning, including data migration validation, system cutover sequencing, and rollback proceduresEnsure end-user training is delivered and adoption support is in place before system launchLead post-launch stabilization period, tracking incidents, resolving issues, and managing hypercare supportQualificationsRequired5–8 years of project management experience delivering enterprise technology implementationsDemonstrated ability to manage full system implementation lifecycles—requirements through go-liveExperience leading UAT coordination, defect management, and go-live authorization processesProficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow PPM, Smartsheet, or equivalent)Strong stakeholder communication skills—status reporting, executive briefings, and escalation managementPMP certification or actively pursuing (PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or equivalent also accepted)PreferredExperience implementing SaaS platforms or enterprise software (ERP, ITSM, CRM, HCM, or similar)Familiarity with ServiceNow as a delivery platform—ITSM, HRSD, CSM, or other modulesVendor and system integrator management experience in a multi-party delivery modelWorking knowledge of Agile or hybrid delivery methods (Scrum, SAFe, or equivalent)ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent service management experienceChange management exposure—structured approach to user readiness and adoptionRussell Tobin offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.Equal Employment OpportunityRussell Tobin is an equal opportunity employer.
