Electronic AssemblerThe Assembler builds complex wire harnesses by following large schematics and blueprints, using hand and power tools to connect, route, and secure cables and components. This role focuses on accurately reading color-coded diagrams, assembling and braiding wires, and ensuring all connections meet quality and productivity standards in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesAssemble wire harnesses on large schematic and blueprint boards according to detailed instructions.Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and color-coded diagrams to determine the correct placement of each wire and cable.Harness and route cables to build complete wire harness assemblies.Braid wires neatly and securely as required by the assembly specifications.Connect wires and cables into various types of connectors, ensuring secure and accurate terminations.Use basic hand tools and power tools to tighten, screw, fasten, and connect parts on the schematic board.Inspect assemblies during and after production to verify correct routing, secure connections, and overall quality.Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and efficient assembly process.Work efficiently in a fast-paced, highly productive environment while standing and walking for the duration of the shift.Essential SkillsAt least 6 months of mechanical or electronic assembly experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately.Experience with mechanical assembly tasks, including using basic hand tools and power tools.Comfort working in a general labor and assembly setting with repetitive tasks.Strong attention to detail when working with color-coded wires and cables.Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift while working at a schematic board.Capability to work productively in a fast-paced, high-output environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious wire harnessing experience is a plus.Experience with wiring, cable routing, or similar assembly work is advantageous.Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain consistent quality.Strong manual dexterity and comfort working with small components and connectors.Why Work Here?You will work in a bright, updated environment designed to keep you comfortable and focused throughout the day. Team members may listen to music or podcasts with one headphone in while working, and a well-equipped breakroom is available for rest periods.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mankato, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $20.00/hr.
