Company Description Community Caregivers, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals of all ages maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life in their homes and communities. Services are designed to support people with everyday tasks, companionship, and practical help so they can remain safely at home. Community Caregivers also offers resources and support to caregivers. Team members work closely with clients, families, and volunteers.Role Description The Program Associate is a part-time (18 hours/week), on-site role based in Guilderland, NY with an opportunity for a flexible hybrid work schedule following training. This position supports the delivery of Community Caregivers’ programs through service coordination, volunteer support, and administrative assistance. This position helps ensure client requests are processed, services are monitored, and program operations run smoothly. The Program Associate communicates regularly with clients, caregivers, and volunteers, to understand needs, share information, and ensure services are delivered effectively. Compensation: $25.00 per hour.Key Responsibilities Enter and manage client service requests in the organization's database and monitor requests for follow-up or unfilled needs.Answer incoming calls, screen service requests, and provide information about Community Caregivers' programs and services.Provide administrative and office support to ensure smooth program operations.Provide occasional support and limited case management for a small number of assigned clients, as needed.Support volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing communication.Assist the Program Director with service delivery and other program-related responsibilities.QualificationsExperience in human services, social work, nonprofit programs, or a related field preferred, but not required.Ability to work independently and communicate effectivelyComfortable working in diverse urban and rural settings within Albany and Rensselaer countiesProficiency with Microsoft Office;Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)Successful background check and DMV history requiredSchedule & Work Environment Part-time, 18 hours per week. Hybrid position with a combination of remote work (after training period), office hours, and occasional travel within the service area. Flexible schedule based on program needs.
