This is a highly relational, fast-moving role best suited for someone who thrives in ambiguous environments, communicates well, and can balance organization with flexibility.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the day-to-day embedded liaison supporting on-site team needsSupport consultant onboarding, check-ins, and ongoing engagementPartner closely with recruiters on openings and candidate calibrationHelp interpret hiring needs and communicate requests across stakeholdersMaintain strong working relationships with client stakeholdersSurface opportunities, insights, and account-related feedbackHelp consultants navigate ambiguity, questions, or day-to-day issuesUse sound judgment to determine when to escalate versus resolve independentlyQualificationsStrong interpersonal skills with a relationship-first approachExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComfort working on-site in a hybrid environment with consistent in-person presenceAbility to stay calm, adaptable, and effective in ambiguous situationsHighly organized without relying on overly rigid processesExperience partnering with recruiting, staffing, or talent teamsGood judgment and the ability to work independently when appropriateProfessional, approachable, and proactive working stylePreferred BackgroundsStaffing or account managementRecruiting operationsCorporate recruiting with stakeholder-facing experienceEmbedded consultant managementCreative operations or brand operationsAgency account or program managementVendor management or talent operationsExperience supporting large consumer-facing organizationsRole SnapshotHybrid: 1-3 days on-site role in the Portland areaFreelance engagementApproximate duration of 4 months with overlap during transitionPotential for longer-term opportunity based on business needs$60/hour
