Baltimore RavensCommunity Relations ManagerThe Community Relations Manager will work in various capacities to support the team's mission to be a positive force in our community. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player who can plan, develop and deliver meaningful community initiatives and events that reflect the organization's mission and respond to community priorities. This position emphasizes building and managing strategic partnerships, coordinating events and leading programs that strengthen the Baltimore Ravens' community presence and create measurable positive outcomes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in all community relations programs in both an independent and team environmentCreate, schedule and execute community outreach programs for community partners, schools and sponsors related to the team's main initiativesCollaborate with internal teams (Corporate Sales, Marketing, Ticketing, Stadium Operations, etc.) to integrate community initiatives into broader organizational programmingCompose written communications surrounding all community-related activationsOversee volunteer opportunities, both internally and externallyCalculate measurable outcomes, cultivate and pitch compelling stories to demonstrate impactCreate and manage budgets for respective programsAssist with all community relations home gameday activities and initiativesPlan, coordinate and execute player visits to community events and appearancesAssist in the execution of Ravens Foundation initiativesServe as a liaison to maintain strong working relationships with partners and non-profit organizationsManage Community Relations Internship program, assisting in hiring, supervision and guidanceProvide ideas and plans for continued expanded programming within team's marketOther duties as assignedRequired Education and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree in sports management, marketing, business, communications or related fieldMinimum of five years' experience working in community relations, partnership activation, event management, marketing or nonprofit workStrong event planning and logistics management skills with a proven ability to execute large-scale community and/or fundraising activationsProficient computer skills with experience using InDesign, Excel, CRM, Word, PowerPoint, Canva and othersRequisite Abilities and/or Skills:High-character individual with strong leadership abilities, and a track record of conceptualizing, executing and completing projects successfullyExcellent people skills with the ability to interact effectively with all types of individuals, including staff and management, professional and elite athletes, members of the media, senior government officials, community members and corporate representativesMust be highly organized and detail-oriented with outstanding time/task management skillsImpeccable writing and proof-reading skillsMust be able to work in a high-pressure environment under strict time deadlinesMust be a team player with strong self and group awareness, and someone who operates with a customer service focusSupreme attention to detail in all aspects of operationPresent and promote the team's community relations programs in a manner that creates interest by the community, fans, partners and public and builds enthusiasm for the team and football in generalEvent coordination experience is preferredMust possess excellent decision-making skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyThorough understanding and a passion for the sport of footballCreative ability, both in generating ideas and solving problemsAbility to lead by example and motivate a team of individualsAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays and evenings, as required.Salary and Benefits:Range: $75,000 - 90,000Company-paid health insurance, including health and vision.
