This position is responsible for hands-on operation, maintenance, and oversight of critical building systems while providing technical leadership to maintenance personnel.This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep mechanical expertise who thrives in a hands-on leadership environment.As the Onsite Chief Engineer, you will:Serve as the senior technical authority for all facility systems and equipmentPerform hands-on troubleshooting, repair, replacement, and optimization of building systemsInspect and oversee all Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities and mechanical repairsConduct critical equipment condition assessments and provide repair/replacement reports to the Project ManagerTrain and mentor journeyman and apprentice-level personnelOversee operation and maintenance of:Siemens BAS (Building Automation Systems)NCMMS / CMMS systemsBoilers and chillers (100+ tons)HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical infrastructureEnsure full compliance with OSHA, safety protocols, and contract requirementsRequired Experience:5+ years (within the past 7 years) directing facility equipment operation and maintenance in a supervisory capacity2+ years (within the past 5 years) working with Siemens BAS, CMMS/NCMMS, boilers, and chillers over 100 tonsProven expertise in troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of building-specific systemsTechnical Knowledge:Building Automation Systems (BAS)HVAC, water treatment, boilers, chillersGenerators, electrical distribution, plumbing, mechanical systemsPreventive and corrective maintenance
