The Senior Project Manager is accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of assigned piling projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Respond to request for proposal from internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner. Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements. Determine and define piling project scope and objectives. Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner. Track project costs in order to meet budget. Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan. Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress. Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables. Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution. Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed. Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement. Creates, executes and revises project execution plans as required to meet client requirements and project metrics. Identifies resources needed and manages team responsibilities. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects that include coordination with field staff and other resource planning. Ensures that all deliverables have been reviewed, approved and signed off prior to issue to the client. Ensures the project team follows the Audubon standards and procedures. Responsible for reviewing project transactions and reporting any discrepancies on a weekly basis. Responsible for review and approval of invoices within a 48hr turnaround. Track project changes and manage change orders to project completion. Manages the project budget and schedule. Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. This includes:Performing duties in a manner that protects personal and team health and safetyParticipating in required HSE training, meetings, and reporting activitiesIdentifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditionsFollowing safe work practices and complying with applicable regulatory requirementsEXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Undergraduate degree or technical college in civil and/or construction management 5-8+ years' of project management and field experience working in the deep foundation space is essential. Professional Engineer (PE) certification a plus. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus. Sales and business development experience an asset. Strong Leadership Capabilities. Proven ability to solve problems creatively. Strong familiarity with deep foundation piling projects. Experienced with various deep foundation process from driven piles, auger cast to helical piles. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful. Lead and influence others without direct authority.
