The manufacturer's portfolio of premier building products inspires endless possibilities while providing enduring outdoor spaces where people can connect, reflect and recharge.Job Summary: Operate plant machinery as directed while adhering to all rules and regulations mandated by safety policies and procedures to produce a superior product.Job Responsibilities:Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirementsSet stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale, rule or templatesObserves machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunctionReviews product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearances assuring product meets quality requirementsPerforms routine machine maintenanceAssists other operators to set up machines and any other necessary tasks to adhere to deadlines and completion of productMakes sure all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned areasJob Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent; or at least one month of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experienceA minimum of 3 years of experience operating production machinesBasic understanding of electronics and programmable controllersKnow the basics of hydraulics, electricity, and toolsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimalsExperience working with Microsoft Suite to include Word, Excel, etc.What CRH Offers You:Highly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsAn inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotionAbout CRH:CRH has a long and proud heritage.
