This opportunity presents the right candidate a unique career path focused on helping the community and working with students, as well as a rich experience developing professional skills.This is a part-time role with flexible hours.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional instruction/tutoring services to studentsParticipate in positive interactions with parents and establish a high level of confidence and program valueBecome proficient with digital educational materials & processesTeach in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium MethodTM, terminology, and teaching practices which include individualized instruction in a group settingAssess students' progress throughout instructional sessions, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for studentsEvaluate, grade, and correct student work and homeworkSupport the maintenance of a clean & professional learning environmentAssist with non-teaching/instructional tasks as neededQualificationsA passion for math and working with studentsExcellent interpersonal skillsExceptional math competency through at least Algebra IAbility to balance various ongoing tasksWillingness to learn and be trainedBenefits/PerksGrowth OpportunitiesGreat CultureFlexible HoursCompensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hourMathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium").
