Production Associate / Chemical OperatorThe Production Associate / Chemical Operator supports safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing by following detailed batch instructions, operating production equipment, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role plays a key part in processing, packaging, and preparing materials for shipment while consistently upholding strict safety, quality, and compliance standards across all assigned shifts.ResponsibilitiesFollow written manufacturing and batch instructions to produce materials accurately and consistently.Operate production equipment such as mixers, pumps, hoses, and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to standard operating procedures.Stage and handle raw materials, including moving heavy containers using appropriate mechanical equipment to support continuous production flow.Complete batch records with precision, including documenting process steps, calculating yields, and ensuring all manufacturing paperwork is accurate and compliant.Monitor production processes and parameters, quickly recognizing deviations and taking corrective action to maintain batch consistency and product quality.Support packaging and inspection activities to ensure finished products meet quality standards and are prepared correctly for shipment.Assist with inventory control by supporting inventory counts, tracking material usage, and maintaining organized work and storage areas.Identify basic equipment issues early, perform simple adjustments, and support maintenance teams to minimize downtime.Practice strong safety habits, respond appropriately to hazards, and follow all safety procedures and guidelines at all times.Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members, documenting issues, reporting hazards, and participating in shift handoffs to maintain smooth operations.Manage time effectively by prioritizing tasks across multiple batches and production deadlines to meet schedule requirements.Essential SkillsProven ability to operate production equipment such as mixers, pumps, hoses, and forklifts in accordance with standard operating procedures.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing batch records, calculating yields, and maintaining error-free manufacturing documentation.Experience in material handling, including staging raw materials and moving heavy containers with mechanical equipment.Demonstrated commitment to safety, including hazard recognition and appropriate safety and hazard response.Forklift operation experience in a production or warehouse environment.Basic math skills to support batching, yield calculations, and documentation.Ability to monitor production processes, recognize deviations, and take corrective action to maintain product quality.Mechanical troubleshooting ability to identify equipment issues early and perform basic adjustments.Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks across multiple batches, shift handoffs, and production deadlines.Clear verbal and written communication skills for documenting issues, reporting hazards, and collaborating with supervisors and team members.Additional Skills & QualificationsGeneral production, manufacturing, or general labor experience in an industrial or plant environment.Experience with batching or blending processes in a production setting.Experience in packaging and inspection activities within a manufacturing operation.Comfort working with inventory control processes, including supporting cycle counts and tracking material usage.Ability to work effectively across 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift schedules as needed by the operation.Willingness to cross-train in multiple production tasks and equipment to support flexible operations.Why Work Here?You join a stable and growing manufacturing operation that invests in your development through hands-on training, cross-training, and continuous learning.
