Service Manager
Service ManagerAuffenberg Dealer Group is looking for a Service Manager to take our customer experience to the next level. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Automotive industry with a successful track record of managing service teams. They will also be responsible for driving customer satisfaction, improving operational efficiency and achieving financial objectives.Compensation & Benefits This a full-time base plus commission position offering a competitive salary of $100,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance; 401(k) plan; paid vacation and holidays; and opportunity for career advancement.ResponsibilitiesServe as primary point of contact for service customersManage and coordinate appointment scheduling using the Dealer Group's Automotive software suiteMonitor customer wait times, service queues / workflow and repair performanceMotivate and develop service technicians / advisorsDevelop and execute programs to increase service retention and loyaltyPromote customer satisfaction by ensuring quality standards and customer experienceOversee automotive parts and equipment purchases and inventory levelsEnsure optimal efficiency and safety standards are maintainedCreate and review processes concerning technician training, shop layout, and vehicle safetyManage and review access systems for shop entry and customer protectionDevelop and maintain relationships with external service providers for customer referralsRequirements5+ years experience in Automotive industry with proven success managing service operationsExcellent interpersonal and problem-solving skillsStrong understanding of Automotive systems, vehicle maintenance and the sales processProven track record of hands-on leadership and accountabilityAbility to collaborate across multiple departments and stakeholdersDetail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skillsEEOC Statement Auffenberg Dealer Group is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable state and federal laws regarding discrimination in employment.
