My team looking for a YouTube editor who understands viewer retention and can create engaging, fast paced videos that keep audiences watching.PLEASE HAVE A STRONG PORTFOLIO OF YouTube content or you will not be considered.What we're looking forYou should be able to edit in a style similar to creators like:MrBeastAirrackRyan TrahanHas the understanding to why their videos stick, retains attention through pacing, storytelling, visual variety, and strong editing decisions.ResponsibilitiesPLEASE HAVE A STRONG PORTFOLIO OF YouTube content or you will not be considered.Editing medium form YouTube videos (10-15+ minutes)Build edits around audience retention and storytelling.Create engaging intros that hook viewers immediately.Add motion graphics, subtitles, zooms, memes, sound design, and visual effects where appropriate.Maintain pacing by removing dead space and constantly introducing visual changes.Organize project files and meet deadlines consistently.Collaborate on revisions and improve videos based on feedback.RequirementsExcellent understanding of retention editing and watch-time optimization.Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects experience is a plus).Strong sense of comedic timing, pacing, and storytelling.Ability to source B-roll, graphics, memes, and sound effects that enhance the edit.Self-motivated and communicates well.SALARY - $75,000-$90,000 (Based on Experience)
