Job Description About This RoleLittle Feet & Helpful Hands Childcare and Preschool is looking to add fun-loving, reliable lead teachers to our team! We’re looking for experienced individuals who are able to work with all ages served at the center– 6 weeks to 6 years old. We believe in learning through play and providing the children with fun experiences and lifelong friendships.What You'll DoComplete and delegate the classroom schedule, shared classroom cleaning duties, diapering duties, and the overall flow of the classroomCreate weekly lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate for the children in your careCommunicate with parents via brightwheel app, including entering meals, diapers, and napsMaintain professional and caring relationships with children and parents, being sure to use appropriate words and tone of voice at all timesAssist children in their daily needs, such as changing diapers and assisting in toileting, serving meals, and getting them down for a napModel proper behavior and redirect improper behavior by providing a better optionSupervise children and interact with them by playing with them, reading to them, dancing with them, etc.Requirements18 years or olderHigh school diploma/GEDLead teacher certification– via degree or book studiesNice To HavesAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (not required, but it's a plus!)We are willing to train and help you get all necessary requirements if you do not have them!BenefitsBonus pay for all time workedPaid prep time, trainings, and continuing educationGenerous PTOPaid holidaysNeighborhood Family Clinic visit reimbursementFree access to Teledocs1% 401K match
