Medical Assistant

The Practice is looking to hire a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with Phlebotomy Experience to become an integral part of our Healthcare and Aesthetic team assisting in patient care management. This position will rotate between two locations as needed (Apex and Pittsboro). The Practice provides an array of aesthetic services including injectable treatments, laser resurfacing, energy-based device treatments, and dermatological services including acne treatments, annual skin checks, biopsies, etc. You will also receive the added benefit of free services and highly discounted products!Must have Great Phlebotomy Skills!The candidate must be positive, energetic, flexible, and provide excellent patient care.Must be able to think ahead and anticipate the clinic’s needs.Deliver and assist in patient care area in accordance with practice guidelines under the guidance of supervising physician or mid-level providers.Maintain patient’s medical records detailing all treatment procedures, medication history, and educational materials distributed.Assisting provider during medical examination and procedures.Collect lab specimensSterilize medical instrumentsKeeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.Maintaining safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures.Interact professionally with other team members to provide the ultimate guest/patient experience.Consistently record and update patient records. Attend and participate in all general and team meetings. Attend all in-house training.Review with the supervising physician all delegated patient services on a regular basis.Responsible to practice in accordance with all HIPAA and OSHA guidelines. Abide by all county, state, and local laws and regulations regarding sanitation, cleanliness, and safety.Skills/Qualifications:Completion of an accredited medical assistant programSelf-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.Thorough understanding of HIPAA law.
