Job DescriptionCANNABIS CULTIVATION TECHNICIANViridian Staffing's (www.viridianstaffing.com) Client is looking for Temporary Cultivation Techs to help with a cannabis garden about 20 minutes West of the Gardner, Massachusetts, area. The assignment is expected to start in mid-May and for workers who meet or exceed performance expectations, this position could convert to a permanent opportunity!Work Shift: approximately 6:00am - 3:30pm Monday-FridayFounded in 2013, Viridian Staffing is the cannabis industry's original recruiting firm and the leading full-service cannabis staffing agency, providing executive search, HR consulting, & temp staffing, coast-to-coast. www.ViridianStaffing.comAs a Cultivation Tech, you will be focused on assisting Head Growers and Assistant Growers with a variety of tasks with the cannabis plants in an indoor grow environment. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to manicuring, monitoring, pruning, watering, planting, trimming, cleanliness and efficiency of production area. You may also get the opportunity to learn how to apply nutrients and pest management methodologies. You must have the ability to wear a N95 mask while around cannabis product and be around plant pollen for an 8-hour period of time.You bring with you the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. You are known for your effective time-management skills, ability to multi-task, and are always able to arrive on time and willing to give 100%. You also have the ability to sit, stand, kneel, twist AND lift plants and equipment up to 50 pounds for extended periods of time.REQUIREMENTSMassachusetts State Law requires anyone working for a licensed cannabis company to be 21 years of age or olderMust be eligible to work for a licensed cannabis company in the State of MassachusettsReliable transportation and ability to arrive on timeAbility to stand, sit, kneel, twist AND lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods of timeExceptional attention to detailAbility to take direction, have a growth mindset, and work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitudeAbility to be around plant materials up to 8 hoursAt least two professional references able to speak to your great work ethic Preferred Qualifications: Cannabis cultivation, trimming or harvesting experiencePay Range: $17.50/hourViridian Enterprises LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
