OverviewThe Project Manager (PM) estimates and manages projects from the earliest conceptual phase up to and through final completion and closeout. The primary role of the Project Manager is to run one or more projects simultaneously, in such a manner that both the customer and the company are successful.ResponsibilitiesManage workload of project engineersPrimary interface with owner and architectMaintain a high level of safetyWork with the Superintendent to enhance project marginsMake sure that projects are completed on or before the contract completion dateEnsure that projects are built in accordance with the plans and specs approved by the owner and the architect/engineers/managersEnsure that all accounts receivable are current and projects are billed accordinglyProvide job cost/margin forecastsManage maintenance of RFI, COP and submittal logsClose out project cleanly and completely within 30 days of project completionProvide all pertinent information to the construction teamRequired SkillsStrong negotiation and leadership skillsUnderstands accounting, financial statements, job cost, and cash flowExperience in creating MS Project schedulesRequired QualificationsMust be able to pass a drug test and comply with our company vehicle safety program4 year degree in a construction related majorMinimum 5-10 years' project management experienceMinimum 5-10 years' estimating experienceThe full salary range for this position is $100,000 to $170,000.
