Software Engineer, Embedded Systems/Firmware, Pixel Bootloader
Overview
In this role you will own and deliver bootloader and firmware features for Google Pixel devices, spanning boot, security, memory, and high-speed I/O. You will contribute across the full development cycle—from pre-silicon bring-up to mass production—working with cross-functional teams to shape the bootstack and ensure a positive Android experience. You will debug complex silicon-software-environment interactions and contribute in C, Rust, and Python. This position offers impactful work at device scale and a chance to influence how Pixel devices boot and operate.
