About the Role We are looking for a precision-focused CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will play a critical role in driving production excellence by operating advanced multi-axis equipment to deliver high-tolerance components that meet rigorous industry standards. Responsibilities Execute complex setups and operation of Dovetail CNC systems to achieve high-precision output. Maximize production uptime by proactively diagnosing and resolving technical equipment challenges. Apply manual machining expertise to refine components and ensure superior surface finishes. Program and operate 5-axis Vertical Machining Centers and Swiss Lathes to manufacture intricate, high-value parts. Interpret complex blueprints and engineering specifications to guarantee absolute dimensional accuracy. Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery to sustain peak operational efficiency. Partner with engineering and production staff to optimize workflows and enhance overall manufacturing throughput. Qualifications Required Skills Extensive background in CNC machining, specifically with Dovetail and Swiss Lathe platforms. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical or software-related machine issues. Advanced proficiency in manual machining and traditional shop floor techniques. Proven experience operating 5-axis VMC equipment for complex geometry. Strong ability to translate technical drawings and blueprints into finished products.
