Compression Operator

Compression Operator - 1st Shift Looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Compression Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating compression molding equipment to produce high-quality plastic parts while maintaining a safe and efficient workspace. Job Details Pay: $13.00 per hour Shift: 1st Shift Job Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities Machine Operation: Safely and efficiently operate multiple compression molding machines to meet production and safety standards. Quality Control: Verify that all products meet quality standards and are free from defects through regular visual inspections. Product Finishing: Finish products by trimming excess material according to specific job requirements. Maintenance & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe workstation and report any equipment issues to the supervisor immediately to minimize downtime. Documentation: Accurately complete all required production and quality documentation. Team Support: Collaborate with team members and perform additional duties as assigned to support production goals. Required Skills & Abilities Technical Skills: Ability to use hand tools such as grinders and drills. Material Handling: Comfortable handling hot material from extruders. Professionalism: Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality. Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, adaptable, and willing to cross-train in other departments. Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the duration of the shift. Ability to move or lift products while bending, rotating, or raising arms above shoulders. Capacity for frequent periods of standing and/or walking.
