This is a hands-on opportunity for students pursuing degrees in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Technology, or a related field to gain practical experience in inventory management, reliability operations, and CMMS data management within a real manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesThe duties of the MRO Intern include but are not limited to:Inventory ManagementAssist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracyUpdate and maintain inventory records in eMaint X5 CMMSIdentify and help resolve inventory discrepanciesStoreroom OrganizationOrganize and maintain the physical storeroom layout for optimal workflowLabel bins, shelves, and storage locations using consistent naming conventionsReceive incoming materials, verify against purchase orders, and stock items correctlyParts & Materials SupportAssist maintenance technicians with issuing parts and materials for work ordersTrack outgoing parts and ensure proper documentation in the CMMSData Quality & StandardizationHelp standardize part descriptions and naming conventions across the CMMSIdentify duplicate or incorrect part records and assist with cleanupImprove overall data quality to support better inventory reportingReliability & Critical Spares SupportSupport efforts to identify critical spare parts for key equipmentAssist in tracking part usage patterns to inform stocking decisionsContribute to basic reliability initiatives as directed by the teamSafety & HousekeepingPerform all work in accordance with plant safety standards and PPE requirementsMaintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace at all times About YouCurrently enrolled in a degree program in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Technology, Business, or a related fieldStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work in a manufacturing/industrial environmentBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethicIn return AAK offerHands on industry experienceCompetitive compensationMentorship from an industry professionalExposure to industry specific tools, technologies, and processesNetworking opportunities within the company and industryAbout AAKEverything AAK does is about Making Better Happen™.
