For our client, we are seeking a Executive Director, Statistical Programming to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.This senior leadership role will guide statistical programming across clinical development programs, with a strong emphasis on quality, compliance, and readiness for regulatory submissions. The position will partner closely with biostatistics, clinical development, IT, and external vendors to establish scalable standards and strengthen the programming infrastructure. It is well suited for an experienced leader who can shape strategy, manage risk, and drive execution in a highly regulated environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $298,000 – $340,000 annuallyResponsibilities Provide strategic leadership for statistical programming across clinical trials. Collaborate with biostatisticians and stakeholders on statistical analysis plans. Ensure audit-ready programming documentation for trials and regulatory submissions. Oversee development and governance of programming standards and best practices. Define and maintain statistical computing infrastructure in partnership with IT. Lead quality review processes for outsourced programming deliverables. Establish programming strategies and risk mitigation plans for projects.Qualifications A B.S. degree in statistics, computer science, or another quantitative field required. An advanced degree (M.A./M.S.) preferred, or equivalent experience. 17+ years of relevant experience in statistical programming and clinical development. 8+ years of management experience, with a proven track record in scaling programming teams.
