Reporting to the Williston Operations Leader, as an Assembler you will perform duties related to the installation of various factory accessories, and complete assembly of various sub-assembly components on golf carts, in accordance with specified drawings and procedures. Typical duties will include installation and assembly utilizing various pneumatic, power,and standard hand tools. Perform quality checks to specified standard drawings. Stage,make-ready, and deliver parts and components from material supermarket to points of use as assigned. Comply with all safety rules and guidelines while observing the use of all prescribed safety equipment. This position typically is on a four 10 hour shift schedule. Starting at 6am to 4:30pm 4 days a week. There may need to be overtime scheduled from time to time. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Follow process method sheets to ensure assembly is performed in accordance with specified assembly methods. • Strong knowledge in use of power tools such as impacts, angle drills, etc. along with manual tools (ratchets, wrenches). • Ability to work in fast pace environment. Standing on your feet for for long periods at a time. • Perform various installations or assemblies of electrical and general hardware as instructed by the Assembly Lead and/or designated associate. • Conduct final inspection to ensure proper installation or assembly of parts. • Stage parts from supermarkets into bins and carts per a pull report or other instructions and deliver carts to point of use. • Assist in training other assemblers as needed. • Report all non-conforming part conditions and equipment or tool malfunctions to the Assembly Lead • Maintain a safe and productive work environment by assuring the work area is clear of tools, brooms, debris, and other items that may present a hazard. • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. Preferred Qualifications • High School Diploma/Equivalent. • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. • Must be able to read and write English. • Previous assembly and/or manufacturing experience preferred. • Must be able to work overtime as necessary. • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
