Immediate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term Care contract opportunities with our LTC facility in Truth or Consequences, NM. Note: LPN needs to have significant wound care experience as well has wound care certification Pay:$1,786/week (Travel Pay Package)Local pay package available Available Work Schedule:8:00am – 5:00pm (Days)40 hour guarantee per weekNo weekends Contract Details:14 weeks to start (with option to extend) Job Details Provide bedside care to patients and assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily livingAssist with wound care, catheter management, and other skilled nursing proceduresAdminister prescribed medications and treatments, following facility policies and state nursing regulationsDocument care provided and resident status accurately and in a timely mannerCollaborate with RNs, CNAs, and healthcare providers to develop and follow individualized care plansEducate residents and families about medications, treatments, and disease managementSupport residents' emotional well-being, providing compassionate care and meaningful interactionsSupervise CNAs and other support staff, delegating tasks appropriatelyRecognize and report changes in patient condition to RNs and healthcare provider teamRespond to emergencies and implement appropriate interventions within the LPN scope of practice Qualifications Valid LPN License1+ year of LPN experience working in a LTC/SNF required (must have 1 year experience worked in last 3 years)One year of long term care experience preferred
