Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Location:Newcastle, OK Status:Full Time Schedule:Three 12 hour shifts per week; standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, seven days a week Compensation:$60-$80/hour (based on experience) + bonusBenefits:Full-benefits package availablePosition SummaryWe are seeking aFull Timeclinician to join our team inNewcastle, OK. Our full time schedules are designed, so providers are off more days than they work. The work is engaging and varied, with a broad patient population and generally low acuity presentations that keep skills sharp without the pressure of inpatient follow-up.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable) Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR Code and bill services appropriately Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values Required QualificationsActive, unrestrictedOklahomalicense ANCC or AANP certification (FNP required) Active DEA license (or ability to obtain) Ability to treat patients of all ages Active BLS certification EHR proficiency Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered) Preferred QualificationsPrior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast track experience Strong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care) Experience with initial x ray interpretation prior to radiology over read About NextCareNextCare is one of the nation's largest urgent care providers, serving communities withaccessible, affordable, high quality careacross 160+ locations in 11 states.
