Chassis & Trailer Technician → InstructorWilmington, NC | Monday-FridayLincoln Tech's WorkforceLinc DivisionBe a positive contribution to the industry.This role is for experienced chassis and trailer technicians who want to give something back to the trade that built them.You’ll stay hands on, stay relevant, and stay connected to the work—while helping shape safer, better prepared technicians entering the industry, you’ll invest your experience where it matters most: training the next generation.Schedule & TravelMonday-Friday workweekWilmington primary locationUp to 50% regional travel between training locationsWhat You’ll DoTeach hands-on chassis and trailer repair in a real shop/lab environmentModel what “good work” looks like—troubleshooting, maintenance, and safe practicesInstruct students on core systems including: air brake systems, trailer and chassis electrical, suspension and wheel-end components Coach students through real tasks and help them build confidence and disciplineProvide clear feedback and track skill developmentMaintain a safe, organized, industry standard training environmentWhat We’re Looking ForProfessional experience working on chassis, trailers, or similar heavy-duty equipmentStrong working knowledge of air, electrical, suspension, and wheel end systemsAbility to explain why something is done—not just howA safety first, professionalism forward mindsetYou don’t need teaching experience.
