Responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with customers through proactive and reactive retention efforts, assisting customers with changing service needs, assisting with any customer questions or concerns, and negotiating service agreements. You will be cold calling, performing first appointments, conducting presentations, preparing proposals and service agreements, and utilizing Salesforce to manage all new business leads.Reports ToBusiness Development DirectorResponsibilities Complete proactive and reactive retention calls and visits to existing customers to ensure we are meeting their needs, strengthening relationships, and proactively renewing agreements Manage a book of current business and evaluate profit levels on current customers Perform cold calling, complete customer appointments and presentations, and prepare proposals and service agreements to secure new business Meet and exceed sales goals to ensure LRS achieves target growth goals Utilize CRM tool on a daily basis, schedule and document all activities, grow potential customer list through cold calling, and input previous customer data Complete profitable service agreement renewals, extension of terms, and change in service levels Work with customer service team to follow up on sales opportunities Perform other job-related duties as required Qualifications / Knowledge / Critical SkillsHigh school diploma or GED, Bachelor’s degree preferredMinimum three years of experience in a customer facing role including addressing customer needsExperience using Salesforce CRM preferredHighly skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Self-motivated with a passion to help peopleStrong listening skills and ability to multitaskAbility to perform in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPro-active, quick learner, and a self-starterStrong organizational skillsFluency in Spanish is a plusPhysical Demands / Environmental FactorsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hearOccasionally required to stand and walkMust frequently lift and/or move up to 10 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusSome regional travel requiredThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.Lakeshore Recycling Systems is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
