Assistant Branch Manager

OverviewThe Assistant Branch Manager supports the Branch Manager in a wide range of customer service and sales activities, as well as lending operations to drive branch growth. This role involves mentoring, developing, and supervising branch staff, while actively participating in achieving sales and service goals. The Assistant Branch Manager also focuses on strengthening customer relationships through outbound calls and customer profiling and takes on a management role int he Branch Manager's absence.This position is located at Jones Valley AL - 2746 Carl T Jones Drive Southeast Huntsville, Alabama 35802. What You’ll DoAssist the Branch Manager with overal branch operationsOperate a Teller window during peak times or staffing shortagesCompile monthly reports on Teller Transactions and Over/Short reportsConduct interviews and complete loan applications for consumer and small business loansStay updated on training and regulations related to lending, depositis, and branch operationsGenerate new relationships and accounts, actively cross-selling bank products and servicesUpdate and monitor sales activities using 360 ViewMaintain and enforce security policies and proceduresHelp acheive branch sales, deposit, and loan growth targetsMotivate, train, and coach employees to meet branch goalsAssist with work schedules, performance reviews, and disciplinary actionsRepresent the financial institution in community activities and business developmentEnsure compliance with NMLS registration and renewal requirements, including fingerprinting and background checksRequirements For SuccessMinimum 3 years of sales and service experience in banking/financial services Supervisory experienceKnowledge of Consumer and Small Business Lending Operations, Teller and CSR funtions, bank products and servicesActive NMLS registrationExcellent interpersonal communication skillsProficient in Microsofit Office programsPreferred SkillsKnowledge of Consumer and Small Business Lending Operations, Teller and CSR functions, bank products and services.Background in financial operating policies and procedures, banking regulations (state and federal), employee development, and public relations.
