Senior .NET Software Engineer

We are currently seeking a Software Engineer. This position’s work schedule is three days onsite in East Hartford, CT and two days remote. A fully remote work schedule is not an option.Job DescriptionOur client maintains various computer systems that are used in all the courts and other state agencies. We are seeking a Software Engineer 3 to assist with system development, integration, and documentation. Applications comprise of web based .NET applications with a MS-SQL Server database backend.Scope of ServicesThe ideal candidate will be able to contribute immediately in the area of Design and develop applications as per the above Project Description.Minimum QualificationsGeneral Experience:Minimum eight (8) years of experience in design, development, testing, deployment and support of complex software applications.Technical Competencies:C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TSQL.NET 8 & 10MVC, Web API, Razor Pages, BlazorEntity Framework CoreSignal RUnit Test Frameworks (e.g., NUnit, JUnit, XUnit, MS Test, etc.)Entra AuthenticationIIS (8.5 and up)Azure DevOpsSQL Server 2022SQL Server Performance Tuning SkillsOptimize SQL queries (Query Execution Plans. etc.)Simplify Index analysisResolve SQL Server deadlocksIdentify the root cause of SQL Server blockingsSSIS & SSRSMessaging APIs (e.g., Service Broker)Bootstrap (or similar CSS framework)Understanding and ability to implement complex design patternsExperience with Production Support activities
