Processing Operator - 1st Shift

MACHINE OPERATOR Job Description: The Performance Group is looking for Machine operators to join the team of a local company in York, PA. This position is temp to hire, is a great way to start with a local company. Schedule: 1st shift 5:30am-2:30pm (Mon-Fri) w/Sat as needed Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour Major Responsibilities: * Safely operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production, oven, and packing machinery. * Run the daily production schedule and set up equipment and supplies. * Stage, measure, mix, and properly handle production ingredients. * Resolve food safety deficiencies, follow allergen control guidelines, and complete operational checks. * Complete required company paperwork and maintain clean, sanitary work areas. * Machine operator background and familiarity with HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems. * Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures * Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production machinery safely and securely as needed to achieve a high standard of performance * Properly handle ingredients used in production as needed, including staging, measuring, and mixing * Perform other job-related duties as assigned * Adhere to all cleaning procedures in production area * Adhere to the allergen control program guidelines, including equipment cleaning and verification activities * Complete all necessary paperwork to company standards Qualifications: * Machine Operator experience and food manufacturing environment * High school diploma or equivalent education. * Basic math skills to measure sizes, count units, and read numbers. * Mechanical know-how to fix small issues and use hand tools. * Physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift heavy items. * Attention to detail to spot product flaws and keep logs accurate. * Ability to read and speak English * Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and various shifts is often a requirement to meet production schedules If your skills match the description above and you are interested, you may apply at www.tpgworks.com, OR text/call at 717-812-1611.
