Job Description Import/Export AnalystLocation: Minnetonka, MN 55345Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMPayrate: $32.14/HrPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Import/Export Analyst to support import/export operations, shipment coordination, and customs compliance activities. This role will begin by supporting a Tariff Mitigation Project before transitioning into a Customs Data-focused role.The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment involving regulatory compliance, shipment tracking, and data management.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate inbound and outbound international shipmentsEnsure compliance with U.S. import/export regulations and company policiesClassify products using Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and Schedule B commodity codesCreate and maintain Proforma Invoices and shipping documentationMaintain FDA and other government agency records and dataFile Shipper's Export Declarations and Certificates of OriginTrack shipments and maintain shipment logs and filing systemsAudit customs brokerage invoices for accuracy and complianceSupport logistics coordination, compliance audits, and customs data managementPartner with engineers and product teams to review technical specifications and determine proper classificationsMaintain accurate documentation and records related to customs and trade compliance Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED1–3 years of experience in logistics, import/export, customs, or related fieldsStrong analytical and organizational skillsExperience interpreting regulations and compliance requirementsProficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel: Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPStrong document management and data-entry skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong communication and teamwork skills Preferred QualificationsHTS Classification experienceExperience with government regulations or trade complianceRegulatory, EHS, or Dangerous Goods experienceMedical Device industry experienceSAP or Winchell experienceQuality Systems experienceRestaurant or hospitality background preferred for candidates experienced in multitasking and high-pressure environments Why Join Us?Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international logistics and customs complianceCollaborative team environment with cross-functional exposureOvertime eligible position with growth potential into customs data and compliance operations Apply today to join a team focused on global logistics, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.Company DescriptionTechLink Systems is a national provider of staffing services with offices all over the USA as well as development and support centers globally.
