Apply via Dice today!Position: React Native Engineer with ionic / angularLocation: RemoteDuration: 12 Months (Contract to Hire)Job Type: W2 Job description:Proficiency in React Native development with a strong understanding of JavaScript, ES6+, and TypeScript.Experience in building complex, scalable, and performance-optimized mobile applications using React Native components and APIs.Familiarity with mobile app development tools, debugging techniques, and integration of third-party libraries and APIs.Knowledge of native mobile development (iOS/Android) and ability to bridge React Native components with native code when necessary.Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of React Native developers, guiding technical decisions, and ensuring code quality and best practices.Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA teams to define requirements, plan sprints, and deliver features on time.Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts, present architectural designs, and facilitate discussions within the team and with stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to innovate and explore new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve React Native development workflows and application performance.Experience with state management libraries (such as Redux, MobX) and data persistence/storage solutions in React Native applications.Proactive in identifying performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other technical issues, and implementing solutions for optimal app performance.5+ years of hands-on experience in mobile app development, with a focus on React Native for cross-platform development.Previous experience in a senior or lead engineering role, with a track record of delivering successful React Native applications from concept to deploymentActive participation in the React Native community, contributions to open-source projects, and relevant certifications would be advantageous
