OverviewJoin a thriving independent critical access non-profit hospital located on the stunning sunset coast of Lake Huron, just two hours north of Detroit. We seek a passionate and skilled Ophthalmologist to join a dynamic, fully staffed outpatient clinic and operating room. In addition to hiring for a full-time position, we are also seeking locum coverage for 3-6 months while finalizing the full-time role.ResponsibilitiesAs a key team member, the Ophthalmologist will have the chance to utilize their expertise in general ophthalmology, focusing on cataract surgery - an essential aspect of this position. Additional retina and oculoplastic skills would be highly valued, further enriching the comprehensive eye care services.In this role, the Ophthalmologist will see upwards of 30 patients daily in a fully staffed outpatient clinic.
