Inventory Coordinator

Job Purpose:The Aircraft Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing the inventory of aircraft parts and materials to ensure accurate tracking, timely availability, and regulatory compliance. This role supports Maintenance, Maintenance Control, and Purchasing by maintaining optimal stock levels, overseeing inventory movements, and ensuring traceability and documentation in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.Duties & Responsibilities:Receive, inspect, and document incoming aircraft parts and materials for accuracy, certification, and condition.Maintain accurate inventory records in the inventory management system including stock levels, part status, and serial/lot tracking.Coordinate stocking and restocking of parts, tooling, and materials to support maintenance operations and reduce aircraft downtime.Organize and control stockroom, labeling, storage practices to ensure efficient access ad compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.Perform routine cycle counts, audits, and full physical inventories. Investigate discrepancies and report findings.Collaborate with Purchasing and Maintenance teams to manage part demand forecasts and inventory usage trends.Perform other inventory duties as required. Skills & QualificationsBackground in aviation, maintenance, inventory, and/or material control experience preferred.Working knowledge of aircraft parts, documentation, and FAA traceability standards.Experience using inventory systems; strong data entry and recordkeeping skills.Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive with strong communication skills.Ability to effectively present information to top management.Proficiency with Microsoft platforms and general computer literacy.High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical training preferred.Physical RequirementsMedium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.The worker is subject to both environmental conditions: Activities occur inside and outside.
