Core Java Developer
Overview
In this role you will contribute to core Java/Spring development within an investment banking context, delivering test-driven improvements and re-engineering to enhance test coverage. You will collaborate with global teams, support multiple applications, and participate in design and architecture reviews to uphold SDLC standards. You will apply scripting skills and batch scheduling knowledge to automate and stabilize deployments. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and re-engineer applications using Core Java/Spring with a focus on TDDPerform peer code reviews and design reviewsBreak down complex designs into phased, manageable work streamsSupport multiple applications during escalation investigationsContribute to project lifecycle activities across development and maintenanceEngage in design and architecture reviews and ensure SDLC complianceUtilize open source libraries for standard integration projectsWork in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environmentApply scripting (Unix/Python/Perl) and batch scheduling knowledge to enable automation
