We are dedicated to providing exceptional care in a supportive, innovative environment. Position Overview: We seek a skilled and compassionate Hyperbaric Technician to join our team. This role involves operating and maintaining hyperbaric oxygen therapy chambers, assisting with Light and PEMF Therapy, performing receptionist duties, and ensuring excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor hyperbaric oxygen therapy chambers, following safety protocols. Conduct patient assessments and prepare individuals for treatments. Provides assistance with ambulation, transfer, positioning, and ROM according to activityorder and needs of the patient. Assist patients with Light Therapy and PEMF Therapy. Handle receptionist duties, including answering phone calls, scheduling patients, andcollecting payments. Educate patients on therapies and expected outcomes. Monitor patients during sessions, address issues, and respond to emergencies. Make observations and maintain accurate records of treatments and progress. Notifies hyperbaric supervisor/physician immediately of changes in patient condition. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals on patient care plans. Minimum Requirements: Associates or Vocational degree in a relevant field (e.g., Health Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Respiratory Therapist). Excellent patient bedside manner and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols. Ability to work collaboratively and manage receptionist tasks. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed. Certified Hyperbaric Technologist - International Board of Undersea Medicinecertification required within 1-1/2 Yrs (facilitated by clinic) BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required within 4 months Preferred Qualifications: Certification or experience in hyperbaric medicine. Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting. Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs frequently (Statera Safe Patient Moving Policy). Standing, bending, and reaching as required for patient care and equipment maintenance. Work Hours: 30-40 hours per week. Weekend rotation: Currently none.
