Application Support Engineer/ Production Support Engineer Houston TX Full-timeMust Have Technical/Functional SkillsSkills required :• Working knowledge of public cloud• Demonstrated knowledge of Networking/Infrastructure• Experience with KDB or other non-SQL databases• Experience supporting public/private cloud-based, Java, or e-commerce applications a plus• AWS certifications preferred (Cloud Practitioner, Architect, and/or Developer Associate)• Working knowledge of Grafana and Tableau is a plusJob responsibilities• Provides end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firm• Supports the day-to-day maintenance of the firm’s systems to ensure operational stability and availability • Assist in the monitoring of production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability tools • Identify issues for escalation and communication, and provide solutions to the business and technology stakeholders • Analyze complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure • Monitors trading application stack and critical batch processing to ensure operational stability • Engages regularly with business client services, infrastructure, and other stakeholders of supported applications • Resolves day-to-day issues impacting the application stack, acting as the first point of contact for Technology and Business • Creates, continuously improves, and maintains real-time monitoring dashboards for system operability and performance • Manages the on-boarding of new businesses, clients, and applications to the team’s portfolio • Support on late night and weekends shifts on rotational basis Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
