Inclusive Workforce and Apprenticeship for Individuals with IDD An apprenticeship candidate at TNP will engage in vocational training and artistic skillbuilding within several departments of The Naples Players, contributing to the day to day operations of a leading community, nonprofit theatre organization. This apprenticeship will focus on workplace readiness and hands-on, individualized training within key areas of the industry. Areas of focus include artistic administration and direction, stage management, scenic construction, lighting and sound, costuming, as well as front-of-house services like ushering or concessions. Reports to: Director of Arts Access and individual department leads within TNP Work Schedule: Report once weekly for a six-month intensive training program; total hours roughly 75 with additional optional opportunities Compensation: $18/hr Traits and Characteristics: An ideal candidate demonstrates a strong passion for a career within the theatre or arts industries. They should demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, be open to feedback, and have a collaborative, professional attitude. Candidates should understand hours of involvement may vary and should have daytime and evening flexibility. Responsibilities Observe and assist in all TNP production departments, engaging in hands-on projects that support our season performances Learn rehearsal room and backstage protocols that are industry standard Learn and support operations and management responsibilities of artistic administration members. This may include the maintenance of TNP public spaces and library inventories and archives. Serve in several front-of-house positions, upholding customer service expectations Engage in volunteer-based community service experiences such as creating cast gifts, thank-yous, and appreciation events Attend preview performances of our season, maintaining up to date knowledge on our current productions and relevant programming Assist in the planning and execution of a relaxed performance as a final capstone project J-18808-Ljbffr
