DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced QA Engineer/Web Application Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of a critical government web application undergoing modernization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, automation, and quality assurance processes, with experience in both legacy and modern software environments.Location: DC Metro AreaCore Responsibilities & DutiesDevelop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for legacy and new system componentsDesign and implement automated test suites to ensure system reliability and performancePerform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testingCollaborate with developers to identify and resolve software defectsVerify data integrity during database migrations and system updatesConduct security and compliance testing to ensure adherence to government standards.Document and report test results, including detailed bug reports8.
