GPU Deployment Program Manager

About the CompanyA rapidly scaling AI infrastructure company is seeking a Deployment Program Manager to oversee multiple concurrent GPU cluster deployments from contract signature through customer go-live.About the RoleThis role requires someone who understands the complete GPU cluster deployment lifecycle and can coordinate every workstream required to bring large-scale AI infrastructure online. This is not a traditional or narrowly focused project management role.ResponsibilitiesMulti-Cluster Programme DeliveryBuild and maintain dependency-led project plans covering all deployment workstreams.Track multiple concurrent deployments across different locations and customers.Maintain visibility across milestones, budgets, risks, critical paths and go-live readiness.Coordinate delivery from contract handover through production launch.Data-Centre and Infrastructure ReadinessTrack data-centre build-out, power, cooling, rack readiness and operational dependencies.Coordinate hardware delivery, installation, cabling and infrastructure integration.Manage network service-provider dependencies and connectivity turn-up.Support cluster provisioning, validation, acceptance testing and customer handover.Vendor and Cross-Functional CoordinationCoordinate directly with OEM and ODM manufacturers on hardware production, delivery and installation schedules.Work with data-centre operators, network providers, MSPs and implementation partners.Partner with GPU architecture, infrastructure engineering, data-centre operations, procurement and supply-chain teams.Ensure all internal and external dependencies are reflected in the integrated programme plan.Risk, Issue and Dependency ManagementIdentify risks, bottlenecks and cross-workstream dependencies before they affect delivery.Own mitigation plans, issue resolution and escalation.Challenge delivery assumptions where progress is not supported by evidence.Track the potential schedule, customer and financial impact of programme risks.Customer and Executive ReportingProvide customers with clear reporting on progress, risks and expected go-live dates.Translate technical deployment status into commercially relevant updates.Produce portfolio-level reporting for executives and the Board.Communicate delivery risks, financial impact and decisions requiring leadership action.Qualifications7+ years of programme or project management experience across AI infrastructure, GPU cloud, hyperscale data centres or large-scale infrastructure deployment.Experience managing multiple concurrent deployments across data-centre readiness, hardware and network workstreams.Understanding of the GPU cluster lifecycle, including rack deployment, power and cooling, network turn-up, provisioning and acceptance testing.Experience coordinating OEMs, data-centre operators, network providers and technical delivery teams.Experience producing customer, executive and Board-level reporting.Experience managing integrated schedules, critical paths, RAID logs, budgets and dependencies.Proficiency with tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Asana or similar.Required SkillsPrevious experience within a neocloud, GPU infrastructure provider or hyperscaler.Familiarity with NVIDIA GPU platforms and reference architectures.Exposure to InfiniBand, high-performance networking, liquid cooling and high-density GPU environments.Experience with cluster benchmarking, burn-in and acceptance testing.PMP or equivalent programme management certification.Experience using AI and automation tools to improve planning, reporting, risk management and delivery execution.Preferred SkillsThe preferred candidate will be a hands-on infrastructure programme leader who can operate across data-centre readiness, hardware, networking and operations rather than specialising in one workstream.They will be comfortable managing ambiguity, challenging technical teams, coordinating external partners and providing clear reporting to customers and senior leadership.
