Job Title: Bilingual Korean Export Manager Location: Norcross, GA (Onsite) Salary: $60,000-$70,000/year MUST BE BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND KOREANSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Option to take a 30-minute lunch and work until 5:00 PM Job Type: Full-Time | Exempt About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Export Manager to lead and oversee daily export operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in international logistics who can manage a team, streamline processes, ensure compliance, and deliver high-level service to global customers. Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Customer ServiceSupervise and support Export Coordinators, ensuring smooth daily workflowManage new international accounts, including onboarding and auditing processesHandle complex, non-routine customer issues and provide effective solutions Order & Documentation ManagementOversee export order processing and release to shippingEnsure accuracy of key documents such as Bills of Lading and export declarations Shipping & Logistics CoordinationDirect scheduling of outbound shipments for efficiency and timelinessIdentify cost-effective global shipping routes and resolve dispatch issues Carrier & Rate ManagementNegotiate and evaluate carrier rates for international shipmentsPrepare rate proposals for prospective and existing customersMonitor carrier performance and ensure regulatory compliance Claims & ComplianceManage tracers for lost shipments and file claims for damages or overchargesEnsure compliance with all applicable export regulations and standards Staff DevelopmentLead hiring, training, and development of export team membersConduct performance evaluations and support employee growth Reporting & AnalysisAnalyze export operations and customer dataPrepare and distribute reports to internal stakeholders Qualifications2-4 years of experience in export freight forwarding or international logistics (preferred)Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExperience managing teams and driving performanceProficiency in Microsoft Office 365, G-Suite, and logistics systemsExcellent communication skills for working with global partners Preferred Certifications:Dangerous Goods Training (DOT/IATA/IMDG)TSA Training Certification Work EnvironmentOnsite office setting in Norcross, GAPrimarily desk-based with daily computer use If you're ready for a new leadership role and drive international logistics operations, we'd love to connect with you!
