Server Engineering Team Lead

Mid-sized but very high profile Asset Management Company* seeks Server Engineering Team Lead.This is a direct hire full-time role with an organization that offer very competitive compensation (base + bonus) and an amazing benefits package (excellent healthcare plan, 4 weeks vacation,...).You will lead a small team of systems engineers responsible for daily support and new projects including support of support for primary virtualization platforms (VMWare VSphere) & storage (Data Domain/NetBackup), capacity & performance management, systems engineering of server requirements, Windows infrastructure, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Exchange 2013, DNS and DHCP.In Summary, You WillActively train, hire, and manage a small team of engineers, including but not limited to their daily activities and project participation Serve as primary Technical Project Lead for a server infrastructure projects Maintain and support all Linux, Windows, and Oracle servers (300+ servers). Serve as Team Lead on Active Directory administration, maintenance, and operations; troubleshooting and testing Serve as Team Lead for VMware ESXi, VSphere, and Horizon View administrating, troubleshooting, operation, and design Manage Microsoft Exchange infrastructure, which includes troubleshooting, administration, and design. Serve as Team Lead for RedHat and Oracle Linux design, troubleshooting, deployment, and implementation Maintain VMWare Veeam, Netbackup, and Backup Exec storage, backups, and replication Recommend, implement, and maintain all server hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment; systems included, but not limited to, server software, server hardware, VMWare virtual infrastructure, desktop applications, printers, switches, VoIP phone systems, video surveillance, and communications providers Manage and maintain contracts, licensing, and procurement processes for infrastructure group Be a key point of contact for audit and compliance scenarios Develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery plans Requirements IncludeHyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell, Windows Server 2016, Microsoft Exchange Server 2013/16, DNS, VMware ESXi, VSphere, Horizon View, Veeam, Netbackup, Backup Exec storage backups and replication, Simplivity, Cisco UCS, systems monitoring (preferably Solarwinds). Team leadership experience Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols. Helpful but not required: SQL Server, IBM BigFix, MS Project Completed Bachelor’s degree with Computer Science or related (math, engineering,...) course of study Microsoft certifications preferred, CISSP a pluscurrently 100% remote due to COVID but with a hybrid return to office 1-2 days per week scheduled for October
