We primarily focus on Retail, Food & Bev, CPG, and OEM verticals.Transportation One is defined by three our core values, driving the single most important attribute of an organization, its culture!Job PurposeThe Expedite Enterprise Operations Manager facilitates the expedite mode for the client portfolio within Transpiration One’s (T1) environment. This role acts as the central coordinator between customers, carriers, warehouses, and internal operations teams to ensure time-critical and standard freight moves are executed accurately, cost-effectively, and with full visibility. The position requires strong relationship management, real-time problem solving, and deep understanding of multi-modal logisticsDuties And ResponsibilitiesClient Account ManagementServe as the primary logistics contact for assigned T1’s customer accountsUnderstand customer supply chain requirements, SLAs, SOPs, and escalation protocolsProvide proactive shipment status updates and performance reportingBuild trusted client relationships to support retention and account growthExpediting & Transportation CoordinationManage time-sensitive, expedited, and critical freight movementsCoordinate domestic and international shipments across air, ground, and ocean modesSource, vet, and manage carrier capacity using T1’s approved carrier networksMonitor shipments in real time and proactively resolve service disruptionsExecute contingency plans during delays, capacity shortages, or emergenciesCarrier & Vendor ManagementCommunicate shipment requirements and expectations to carriers and service providersNegotiate spot rates within approved pricing parametersEnsure carrier compliance with insurance, safety, and service standardsEvaluate carrier performance and provide feedback to managementDocumentation, Systems & VisibilityEnsure accurate creation and management of shipping documentation (BOLs, AWBs, invoices, customs documents where applicable)Maintain accurate shipment data in TMS, HubSpot and other systemsSupport customer reporting, KPI tracking, and service reviewsFinancial & Performance OversightProvide accurate shipment quotes and cost estimatesMonitor margins, accessorial, and service costs per client agreementsResolve billing discrepancies and support invoicing processesSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service efficiencyInternal CollaborationCoordinate closely with warehouse operations, customer service, sales, and overseas agentsParticipate in account reviews, SOP development, and onboarding of new customersEscalate risks, exceptions, and service failures in accordance with 3PL protocolsQualificationsRequired3+ years of experience in a 3PL focused on freight forwarding clientsStrong understanding of multi-modal logistics and expedited freightExperience managing multiple client accounts simultaneouslyFamiliarity with TMS platforms and shipment visibility toolsExcellent communication, organization, and time-management skillsPreferredBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related fieldExperience with international freight forwarding or customs coordinationKnowledge of SLAs, KPIs, and contract-based logistics servicesWorking conditionsGeneral office environment. Work is generally performed in a seated position with a high volume of computer screen reading, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable.
