Store Manager

Overview We are seeking a responsible and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team and drive store success. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, motivate staff, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Duties Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth daily operations and high standards of customer service Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees, providing comprehensive training and development to build a motivated team Manage inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and merchandising to maximize sales and minimize loss Oversee cash handling, cashiering, and payroll processing. Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and team meetings to foster a culture of continuous improvement Qualifications Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities Strong skills in negotiation, sales management, inventory management, and retail math Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable Demonstrated expertise in employee orientation, training & development, recruiting, and team leadership Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping software, and inventory control tools Experience with shift management, merchandising, and retail math calculations Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently with exceptional organizational skills and time management abilities Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience within a retail or grocery setting is preferred.
