Who You Are:Responsible for managing the Buying process to build compelling commercial ranges of products for the regional business and contribute to the development of the Company’s overall goals, ensuring that the plans for the Buying of their areas are appropriately integrated and actively influence the strategic direction of the business.What You’ll Do: Ownership of the regional business with a focus on creating the most profitable assortment for Outlet categoriesContribute and lead the execution of the Versace Buying strategy during the buying sessionResponsible for understanding and fulfilling individual store/product needs and accountable for the budget that is used to create all store assortmentsTailor assortments by store based on brand strategy, sales history, consumer profile, ensuring the correct balance between volume drivers and image pieces curating differentiation between storesDrives in-season management of the range to drive revenue and the trade the business in the proper wayPartner with Global merchandising team in HQ to ensure product needs are met and highlight regional trendsPartner with Visual Merchandising to ensure the range will be presented in the stores in the proper way following VM StandardsPartner with VP Retail /Director of Outlets and Store Managers to gather product feedback and market opportunitiesPartner with Regional Marketing to highlight key activations for the regionPrepare action plans to boost sales in low performing categoriesPrepare product training documents and present the buying strategy to the teamsBuying and allocation management of License categories including Fragrances, Watches, and SunglassesPartner with Planning team on new style allocations, markdown strategies, and promotionsYou’ll Need to Have: Bachelor's degree in business/ fashion merchandising is preferred4-5 years of previous experience in a fast paced, sales-driven environmentMust possess analytical skills and strong Microsoft Excel and computer skillsKeen awareness of the customer and brand profile of the businessTeam-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills for interacting and networking with customers and other departments.Ability to work in NYC office 3 /4 days a week.We’d Love to See:The ability to think strategically, drive results and build a high-performance organizationProven ability to be strategic and tactical in a demanding, fast-paced environment.Entrepreneurial, out of the box thinkerIn compliance with certain Pay Transparency laws, employers are required to disclose a salary range.
