This position is ideal for an experienced instructor who is comfortable leading classes independently, assisting other instructors, and teaching students preschool through high school in a positive, structured environment.Schedule Requirements:* Evenings required* Saturday mornings required* Year-round availability preferredPrimary Teaching Focus:* Ballet & Tap (required)* Additional styles (jazz, lyrical, hip hop, preschool dance, etc.) are a plusResponsibilities:* Lead and assist dance classes for students preschool through high school* Teach Ballet and Tap with proper technique and age-appropriate progression* Develop and follow structured lesson plans aligned with studio curriculum* Choreograph routines for recitals and studio events* Support and assist other instructors as needed* Maintain a positive, organized, and engaging classroom environment* Motivate students while reinforcing strong technique and class structure* Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback* Assist with group and private lessons, birthday parties, and special events* Perform opening and closing studio duties as scheduled* Capture short class content for studio social media (shared with management)* Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and studio leadershipIdeal Candidate:* Experienced dance instructor confident with all age groups* Strong background in Ballet and Tap* Friendly, professional, organized, and dependable* Strong classroom management and leadership skills* Passionate about recreational dance educationRequirements:* High school diploma or equivalent* Ability to teach students preschool through high school* Prior dance experience required; teaching experience strongly preferred* Excellent communication skills* Energetic, patient, and reliable* CPR/First Aid certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)To Apply:Please submit your resume and a brief introduction through Indeed.
