Systems Engineer

This role is responsible for ensuring system reliability, performance, and security while supporting enterprise operations and compliance requirements.The ideal candidate has strong experience with Microsoft cloud technologies, virtualization platforms, and system administration, along with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesAdminister and maintain systems across hybrid environments, including Microsoft Azure and VMwareManage Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, including identity management, access controls, and conditional access policiesPerform system configuration, patch management, and vulnerability remediation activitiesImplement and maintain STIG-compliant configurations and security baselinesMonitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across servers, storage, and network infrastructureSupport disaster recovery planning, testing, and executionInstall, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and network componentsDocument system configurations, procedures, and operational processesSupport the integration of new systems, applications, and technologies into the environmentCollaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with organizational and federal requirementsRequired QualificationsMust have an active Public Trust security ClearanceMust be willing and able to work fully onsite at the location listed in this posting6+ years of experience in IT systems engineering or system administrationStrong experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory/Entra IDExperience with virtualization platforms such as VMwareKnowledge of networking concepts including LAN, VPN, and firewallsFamiliarity with both Linux and Windows server environmentsExperience working with federal compliance frameworks such as NIST and FISMAPreferred CertificationsMicrosoft Azure Administrator or Azure Solutions ArchitectVMware Certified Professional (VCP)#CJFantom Corp is a Software Development, Agile Cloud, Cyber Security (Risk Management, Assessments & Authorization (A&A)), Data, AI Platform (Computer Vision Models), Podcasting Media Services, and IT Services provider.
