We don’t settle until we give our best and know that we’re making a difference. We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer  who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing and other state of the art manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will be located in Moon Township, PA but there's geographic flexibility for qualified candidates located near a Jacobs U.S office.As an Electrical Engineer, you will be be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget and schedule.  You’ll also provide on-site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will produce installation details, motor control center single lines, electric room layouts, motor control elementaries, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts and grounding, lighting, and power plans. You’ll also assist directly with the more complex portions of the design process, interacting directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site. You and your team will work closely with client owners in a fast paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents.Bring your curiosity, talent for multi-tasking and collaboration, and extreme organizational skills and we’ll help you grow, pursue and fulfill what drives you – so we can make big impacts on the world, together. Here's what you'll needBachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering At least 8 years of engineering experience building electrical systems Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards Experience with power system software, such as ETAPExperience with generator sizing and parallelingExtensive design experience with electrical power system equipment/components, such as switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etcTeam leadership and client interaction experienceEffective verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills    Ideally, you’ll also have  Professional Engineer (PE) licenseMaster of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering At least 3 years of electrical design experience for semiconductors or data centersWorking knowledge of Revit or BIM softwareMedium Voltage (MV) design experience#afelectronicsOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
