Shift : Shift : 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 11:30 PM) - (Mon-Fri) - *Pay: $18/hr + $2 shift differentia*l
*Shift: 3rd Shift | Monday–Friday | 11:30 PM–7:30 AM*
*Pay: $20.00/hr + $2.00 Shift Differential = $22.00/hr o W2*
*Overtime: Mandatory OT*
*Position Summary*
We are seeking a *Senior Braider Machine Operator* with strong *mechanical aptitude *and experience operating and setting up industrial braiding equipment. The operator will run TMW, NEB, and OMA braiders while ensuring product quality and production efficiency. This position also supports training entry-level operators and works closely with Maintenance and the Value Stream Team Leader.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Operate and set up *TMW-3DK, TMW-4DK, NEB, OMA, and TMW 24/36 braiding machines*.
* Select and install proper tooling, braid rings, tube guides, gears, carriers, bobbins, and mandrels.
* Monitor machines and identify mechanical or production issues.
* Inspect tooling and carriers; rebuild carriers when required.
* Measure and record *outside diameter (OD) and braid pitch* according to specifications.
* Perform quality inspections and *pull tests on aerospace hoses*.
* Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow *5S and Lean Manufacturing* practices.
*Requirements*
* Previous experience operating *braiding machines or similar specialized manufacturing equipment* preferred.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and machine setup experience.
* Ability to read and follow manufacturing specifications and work instructions.
* Experience with mechanical tooling, machine adjustments, and quality measurements.
* Ability to perform repetitive standing, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
