They must become an expert about and handle all aspects of an event registration, conduct themselves with professionalism and provide excellent service to our internal and external customersWhat You Will DoRespond to emails in a timely manner and/or as required for deadlines.Travel to competitions / events as assigned.Work closely with appropriate departments on all aspects of the event registration, including but not limited to providing updates for enrollments, team division changes, cancellations, outstanding balances, etc.Data entry of registration details (payments, housing assignments, etc.) for specific championships, special events and/or camps, as assigned.Confirm details, such as dates, enrollment, and shipping address for Home Camps and other camps/events as assigned.Process daily mail (checks, purchase orders, etc.)Close out events, including but not limited to attendance reconciliation, send invoices, issue refunds, handle chargebacks and payment disputes, etc.Book hotels for seasonal staff for camps/clinicsApply payments to accounts, enforce payment policies and audit account balances.QualificationsKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multi-task.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Enthusiasm and positive energy are an absolute must. You can stay positive after a long day of emails, data entry and phone calls, understanding that a team culture is built on the attitude of every member.Experience with Salesforce or the ability to become proficient rapidly.Willing to work overtime and weekends when necessary.Knowledge of cheerleading and/or dance a plusEducation/ExperienceHigh school diploma required.Bachelor's degree preferred.Experience in cheerleading, dance or band industry a plus.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands that are described as required are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.While not participating in an event this job operates in a professional office environment. Largely a sedentary role with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. Ability to sit or stand for long periods through meetings and while operating office equipment, PC's, laptop, telephone will be required.During events the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time (5 hours plus) is required. The ability to communicate with customers and colleagues using the following but not limited to radio, walkie talkie, text message and email is required.
