Swim Instructor (Part-Time)Here at British Swim School, we are more than just a fun, surface-level swim lesson provider. A position at British Swim School is more than just a job, it is an opportunity to learn, grow, and make an impact in the lives of your community to ensure "survival of the littlest".Compensation and benefits include:Pay starts at $14 during training, $17 once independently teaching, and $18 once lifeguard certifiedPaid trainingOpportunities for internal advancementThe position involves:Being a swim instructor, you will be provided the training to teach swim lessons to children and adults, starting at 3-months old, following the British Swim School aquatics program that is gentle, fun, and progressive. You will be assigned to a class schedule developed by manager(s) and interact with swimmers, and parents and/or guardians.Your typical responsibilities include:Reporting directly to and supporting the Aquatics Manager and/or Business Owner(s).Instructing swimming lessons in accordance with British Swim School training and program standards, maintaining certifications throughout employment.Working a flexible schedule that may include evenings (3pm-8pm), weekends (8am- 4pm), and holidays as required by business needs.Working in an environment where noise levels are usually moderate to high and be in the water for the duration of the shift.Minimum qualifications include:High school diploma, equivalent, or in the process of completion.Enthusiastic personality.Comfortable in and around the water.
